Dwr yfed a bwyd bore / Drinking Water and morning snack

DWR

Rydym yn annog y disgyblion i ddod a photel efo nhw i’r ysgol ar gyfer sicrhau eu bod yn yfed digon o ddwr yn ystod y dydd. Gall y botel gael ei llenwi efo dwr adref neu yn yr ysgol. Cofiwch os gwelwch yn dda (gan ddilyn rheoliadau statudol Llywodraeth Cymru ar fwyta’n iach mewn ysgolion) mai dim ond dwr (llonydd neu pefriog) neu laeth (Cyfnod Sylfaen) y dylai’r digyblion fod yn yfed yn ystod y dydd, a nid unrhyw ddiod blas / ‘squash’ ayyb. Mae dwr yn cael ei roi fel rhan o ginio ysgol, felly nid oes angen i’r rheiny sy’n cael cinio ysgol i fynd a’u poteli i’r neuadd amser cinio.

BWYD BORE

Mae croeso i’r plant ddod a ffrwyth neu lysiau o adre gyda nhw i fwyta fel snac bore ac yn unol â’n polisi ysgol iach a chanllawiau Llywodraeth Cymru ar fwyta’n iach mewn ysgolion dylid dod â ffrwyth neu lysiau yn unig.

Diolch am eich cydweithrediad

WATER

A reminder that we encourage the pupils to bring a bottle with them every day to school to ensure that they drink enough water during the day. The bottle can be filled at home or in the school. Please remember (in accordance with the Welsh Government’s Healthy Eating in Schools statutory guidance) that it’s only water (still or carbonated) or milk (Foundation Phase) that the pupils should be drinking during the day and not any flavoured drinks / squash etc. Water is given as part of school lunch, therefore pupils taking school lunch don’t need to bring their bottles into the hall at lunch time.

MORNING SNACK

The students are welcome to bring their own fruit or vegetable snack from home and in conjunction with our healthy school policy and the Welsh Government guidelines on eating healthily in schools we ask that they only bring vegetables and/or fruit for their snack.

Thank you for your co-operation
