Hoffwn longyfarch y plant a gystadlodd mor frwd yn Eisteddfod yr Urdd ddydd Sadwrn. Maen nhw wedi gwneud gwaith arbennig yn dysgu’r geiriau ac yn perfformio mor hyderus. Diolch o galon i’r rhieni am eu cefnogaeth barhaus, am ddod â’r plant i’r Eisteddfod ac am eu casglu o’r ymarferion. Diolch hefyd i’r staff am yr holl waith caled yn paratoi’r disgyblion ac am eu cefnogi Dydd Sadwrn, ac i’r GRhA am drefnu caffi yn ystod yr Eisteddfod.
Llongyfarchiadau arbennig i Eira am ddod yn drydydd yn y gystadleuaeth ganu, ac i’r grŵp llefaru am ennill y safle cyntaf. Dymuniadau gorau i’r grŵp wrth iddynt baratoi ar gyfer yr Eisteddfod Ranbarthol mewn ychydig wythnosau.
Mae Clwb yr Urdd ar Ddydd Mercher wedi dod i ben am eleni, ond bydd y grŵp llefaru yn parhau i ymarfer yn ystod oriau ysgol. Bydd mwy o fanylion yn dilyn yn fuan ynghylch trefniadau’r Eisteddfod Ranbarthol ar gyfer aelodau’r grŵp.
Congratulations to all the children who competed so enthusiastically in the Urdd Eisteddfod on Saturday. They have done an exceptional job in learning the words and performing so confidently. Thank you to the parents for their ongoing support, for bringing the children to the Eisteddfod and for collecting them from rehearsals. Thanks also to the staff for all their hard work in preparing the pupils and supporting them on Saturday, and to the PTA for organising a café during the Eisteddfod.
Special congratulations to Eira for coming third in the singing competition, and to the recitation group for winning first place. Best wishes to the group as they prepare for the Regional Eisteddfod in a few weeks.
The Urdd Club on Wednesdays has ended for this year, but the recitation group will continue to practise during school hours. Further details will follow soon regarding arrangements for the Regional Eisteddfod for those in the recitation party.
