Hoffem eich hysbysu am y cyfleoedd gwych sy’n dod o fod yn aelod o’r Urdd eleni, ac i annog eich plentyn i gymryd rhan yn y cystadlaethau ar gyfer yr Eisteddfod sydd ar ddod.
Mae ymuno â’r Urdd yn cynnig nifer o brofiadau positif i’r plant, gan gynnwys:
✨ Cyfle i berfformio ar lwyfan
Mae cystadlu yn yr Eisteddfod yn hybu hyder ac yn rhoi cyfle i blant gamu ar lwyfan a dangos eu sgiliau o flaen cynulleidfa mewn awyrgylch cefnogol a chyfeillgar.
🤝 Bod yn rhan o dîm
Bydd nifer o’n disgyblion yn cymryd rhan mewn parti llefaru neu mewn cystadleuathau chwaraeon megis pel rwyd, pel droed, rygbi (cyfleoedd chwaraeon i’r plant hyn). Mae’r gweithgaredd hyn yn hyrwyddo cydweithio, cyfrifoldeb a chyfeillgarwch.
🎭 Clwb yr Urdd – dysgu ac ymarfer
Mae ein Clwb Urdd ar Ddydd Mercher yn gyfle gwych i’r plant baratoi ar gyfer cystadlaethau llwyfan, dysgu sgiliau newydd ac adeiladu hyder wrth berfformio.
🎨 Cyfle i greu gwaith celf adref
Yn ogystal â gweithgareddau llwyfan, mae sawl cystadleuaeth gelf a chrefft y gall y plant gymryd rhan ynddynt gartref – ffordd wych o ddangos eu dychymyg a’u creadigrwydd. Thema’r gwaith celf yw ‘Breuddwydion’. Rhestr Testunau 2026 | Urdd Gobaith Cymru

Rydym yn annog cymaint o blant â phosibl i gymryd rhan – mae’n brofiad gwerthfawr, hwyliog a chofiadwy i bawb.
We would like to inform you of the fantastic opportunities that are available if you become a member of the Urdd this year and to encourage your child to participate in the Eisteddfod competitions.
Joining the Urdd gives many positive opportunities such as:
✨A chance to perform on stage
Competing in the Eisteddfod promotes confidence and gives children to perform on stage to show their talents in front of a friendly and supportive audience.
🤝 Being part of a team
Some of our pupils will be part of a group recitation and there will be sporting opportunities such as football, netball and rugby (sporting opportunities for the older children). This promotes responsibility, friendship and working collaboratively.
🎭 Urdd Club – learning and practising
Urdd club on a Wednesday is an excellent opportunity for the children to get ready for the stage competitions (singing and reciting), they will learn new skills and develop their confidence when performing.
🎨 Art work at home
As well as the stage competitions the Esiteddfod run art and craft competitions that children can participate from home – this is an excellent way for them to show their imagination and creativity. ‘Dreams’ is the topic this year. 2026 Syllabus | Urdd Gobaith Cymru
📅 Important date
The Eisteddfod will be held at Ysgol Bro Alun on the 7th of March.
Further information will be shared closer to the date.
We encourage as many children as possible to participate – its a valuable, fun and memory making experience.
